Commercial Property Lawyer

Full-time role – Hours 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

A vacancy has arisen for a solicitor to join our successful Commercial department, including Commercial Property and Corporate and Commercial, supported by the Employment and Dispute Resolution teams. The firm deals with a wide range of high-quality commercial work.

We would be pleased to consider applications from candidates working with a quality caseload in an established legal practice.

You will be an enthusiastic transactional lawyer, with experience in all aspects of a busy corporate and commercial practice, including:

  • Commercial acquisitions and disposals
  • Development
  • Landlord and tenant
  • Asset management
  • Banking, finance and loan agreements
  • Business and asset sales/purchases
  • Insolvency and restructuring

Ideally, we would be looking for someone who has experience and a willingness to be involved in corporate support and general commercial work.

You would be able to work alone and as part of a team, confident in dealing with a client base comprising well established SME's, owner managed businesses, lending institutions, property investors and developers, housing associations, as well as high net worth private clients.

In addition to your case responsibilities, you would be willing to help provide support alongside the partners in developing the skills of our junior lawyers and to develop the firm’s corporate and commercial client base. Prior experience in business development would be an advantage and an aptitude for marketing will come naturally to you.

We are a growing department with a great team of skilled lawyers and support staff and there will be exciting opportunities for career progression for the right candidate.

Family Solicitor

Full-time role – Hours 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

We are a progressive Legal 500 firm based in Enfield and are looking to recruit a Family Solicitor to join our team and manage a varied matrimonial caseload.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years PQE (although Applicant’s with higher PQE will be considered)
  • Experience working with high net worth clients and dealing with complex legal issues including divorce, financial provision, TOLATA and children disputes
  • A strong understanding of Family Law
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills (both written and spoken)
  • The ability to show empathy and understanding to clients and colleagues.
  • A successful track record of dealing and delivering exceptional client service
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy family department

Previous experience in advocacy (although not essential)

Office Administrative Assistant.  

Full-time role - Hours 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

The role is office based.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic person to work full time in our Enfield office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
         •    Ordering and maintaining our stationery supplies.
         •    Distribute incoming post.
         •    Photocopying and scanning legal documents.
         •    Cover for our reception including greeting clients.
         •    Maintain our Wills and Deeds register. 

You must have good basic IT skills and be confident taking telephone calls.

Full training will be provided.

This is a good opportunity to gain an understanding of the legal profession and develop your skills.

Training Contracts
Occasionally, we are able to offer legal training contracts with our legal departments. When a vacancy arises we will advertise at the University of Law and in the Law Society Gazette inviting applicants to send their CV for consideration.

Work experience
There are currently no opportunities for work experience or shadowing.
